Looking for new boots I’ve tried on Hanwag alverstone II wides, they aren’t wide enough. Are the Schnee wides, Zamberlan wide, or the scarpa wider than Hanwag or the same. Trying not drop $1200 on boots just to return them all or most of them.

No crispi boots recommendations, my feet and crispi don’t get along

I found I have really wide feet after some foot issues the last couple years. Keen makes an extra wide goretex hiking boot that works pretty well for me. Made in America. I have a brand new pair of kenetreks sitting at home now.

My feet are 9.5, 4E. I had to go to Lathrop and Sons for something that fit. Money well spent on their extra-wide boots. I had a pair of Zamberlans that were ok in the city but in the mountains, blistered my feet in one hard morning. Good luck, but I think you'll eventually have to spend the money.

I have two pairs of Zamberlans.
Sz 8E.
Both have fantastic construction...They're beautiful.
The uninsulated fit great, lots of room and the lacing system gives you options.
The new ones are the Hunter Pro Evo 1005Hunter Pro.
Insulated means a slightly tighter fit but I'm breaking them in with thinner socks(Black Friday purchase). They fit well, comfortable, and definitely capable as a back country boot.
Kennetreks fit me but their insoles are about as uncomfortable as can be and there are many comments around their insoles.
I am really liking Zams.
