...the only friggin' mfr making merino zip tees with pockets? On spot and stalk hunts when you're really exerting yourself, your zip tee is likely the only top you're wearing...a pocket is a no brainer but I cannot find em on any other shirt. Holds my RF perfectly, silently and where I can access it with little movement.

I wish Kryptek's wool zip tee offered this.

Has anyone seen a high neck merino top like the second pic that has a pocket?

Personally, I can't stand the pockets that manufacturers put on shirts.......except for the button up collared shirts with pockets.

I wouldn't use them if they had them. That said I can't see what it hurts to have them...

Where'sBruce: if you use a standard bino harness, it's an easy solution with a zip tie and key chain ring. Mount your RF above the buckle on your right side. Easy to grab and range and stays out of the way for RH shooter.

I prefer no pockets. Just extra fabric that doesn't do anything very well IMO but I can see your point. For me I never make a stalk without my bino pouch. I use the Alaskan Guide and a FHF rangefinder pouch attached to the right side. Works fantastic!

Bruce---- That is how I roll as well. I have always hunted with (mostly still hunting) my RF in that pocket. Something the size of the Vortex or Leupold RX fit perfect. All my shirts either have a pocket, homemade pocket sewn on and I even cut the top of the Kuiu pockets to make it a normal chest pocket to get my RF to fit perfectly. Just how I like doing it, but we are a dying breed.

I'm the opposite, not a fan of pockets on my any of my shirts. I only use them on my jackets. I don't use a range finder either though.

That's my plan too. I want my RF lanyard around my neck and the RF in my pocket with or without my pack on.

Not putting
My calls in my pants pocket, recipe for a mouth full of dirt and nasty reeds.

Shirt pocket or a sleeve pocket only way to roll

I prefer baselayers without pockets for sure. I don't mind a pair of pockets on an outer-layer though.
