Why do SG's blaze orange accessories cost more?

A Sky series lid is $44 is every color except blaze orange which is $59.

More expensive fabric dye process?
Boutique/small batch speciality item?
SG doesn't get the same bulk price on the orange fabric because they order less of it?

No idea, I would call and ask. Maybe the price is going up on all and has only been adjusted for the orange? I checked the accessory bag for the back of a pack and all have the same price so it appears to only be the lid. It’s weird though.

Honestly blaze orange items probably sell less than standard colors so they probably buy in smaller lots from their supplier which in turn cost them more $$.

I think while all the above might be right, I also know Kurt doesn’t work off price he just uses the highest quality stuff he can, so there might be a good reason why.
