Why did Classified disappear from New Posts??

Yeah , I think it's too bad they think classified ads need to be on the whats new page . I joined here for hunting articles and to hear from other hunters , not to shop like it's a flea market .
If you want to shop , go to the classified section , seems easy enough to me . But what do I know , it's Robby's world , I'm just a hunter , not an internet farmer .

@Ryan Avery is there any way to put a user selected toggle on the “what’s new” to make all happy? I for one have no problem scrolling past what I don’t want to read but apparently it is a huge hardship.

I’ve often wondered what it takes to be “classified approved”? Regardless it is good for all selling their stuff as there are so many things I did not know I needed till I saw them on my “new post” feed. Yesterday the first thing I noticed was I missed out on an S&B 6x fixed scope that would have been absolutely perfect for one of my rifles!

Certainly easy to scroll as you are doing it already anyway. Perhaps I can absorbs the words easier, who knows? Doesn’t seem that hard to keep scrolling…

The one thing people do universally well is complain though so it’s not surprising. I did not complain when it was taken away, but I am going to applaud that it is back…it’s an easy button.

Bummer. So much cleaner without them. Much easier to just go to each section of classifieds that I’m interested in.
Add a “What’s New Classifieds” tab.
Too much clutter.

To be clear, my thinly veiled passive aggression was 1% directed at you…you were the easiest and most recent to quote, so 99% no offense intended . I’m a 90% learning guy and 10% thrifty guy.

I’d love it for Ryan to figure out a toggle so everyone would be happy.

Classified approved just means you have donated $50 or more to Rokslide. Do that early enough, and you can skip the 1 week wait and 10 post requirements. I got mine well after meeting those, and whish somebody would take it away.

I do believe Ryan said they were essentially working on two versions of "what's new," one with ads, one without.
