Anyone eyeballing the Tract 1-8 mil?
I did try the red dot on a couple but soured on it once hunted. Kids killed great but they have amazing eyes lol. I had no issue at range on steel to 300 plus but Number 1 reason was optical clarity and brightness. All in not on lpvo but 0-500/600 capabilities but primarily as tag Fillin well short of that and no dialling capped decent reticle options has options sort of forces the lpvo range. 2 to 2.5 low and 8-10 top be great with some objective but trade offs no issue.I've soured quite a bit on LPVOs over the years, down to a much narrower use case. If you can only have one gun, for any distance from house to field, they're a great option. And they can be great for some dangerous game guns, as long as they're proven rugged in both cases. But for 95% of what guys actually use their guns for, they're better off with a red dot out to 200-300, or if it won't be used in household distances, something like a 3-15, 4-16, etc.
Yeah that facker has a knack for finding sh1t before most even know it exists.Pretty sure Stick is flogging on one (or more) daily right now.
Ok rings showed, mounted and it’s on a new setup which I just proved accurate enough to invest in the tract quick with some Talleys and a 1” Burris I had laying around, ordered scope rings and picked up more ammo. Scope showed first rings just showed, shot last night.I will interested in how you like it in the field. Seems like a good unit from the specs/reviews
