Who will shoot a cow elk this year?

If you you have an ES elk tag will you shoot a cow elk this year or hold out for bull only?

It depends on the unit and season. But shoot an elk, save a deer.

Bull only on my ES archery tags. If I don’t fill it I’ll kill a cow late season with a rifle or muzzle loader.

Bull only, never killed a cow but have had plenty of opportunities. I just take the whole month of September and know at some point I'll come across a bull.

I drew a cow tag and have a bull tag so I will be hunting for both.

I’ll kill a cow any day. Our Roosevelt cows are bigger than your rocky mt bulls anyway.
