forgot to mention, most accubonds I've killed stuff with have retained 80% or more of its weight, the Long range model was a pass through but did the jab adequately (40 yards trail)
I used the accubond long range this year and killed a deer at 645 yards. Did well. I've used the standard accubond in years past and had good luck as well
I have used 165gr Accubonds in my .308 Rem 700 Mt Rifle. I have a very accurate load, but have yet to bloody the .308.
I also use the 225gr Accubonds in my .338 WM. So far I have taken a Dall Ram, a moose, and a Caribou with them. They group well and are an accurate bullet, at least in my limited reloading experience. I forget the exact gr of my load, but I use H4831sc.
I used 165gr Accubonds in my .308 this season and they worked well. I think I prefer Barnes TTSX performance a little better, but the Accubonds shot more consistent in the .308 for me.
Just killed a whitetail buck today. Only 20 yards away. Pass through shot at opposite shoulder. Hemorrhage on entrance. Walked 5 yards and that was that.
