Navy, 2011-present. I’m an 1110/SWO LCDR. Just got bonged off USS DEWEY (DDG 105) today. Wrapped up 21 months as CHENG. Next tour is USS CHOSIN as CHENG.

I have a soft spot in my heart for snipes. Topsiders are just ship riders…
Snipe here, MM3. I made E5 but only got three days pay before I got busted for things out of my control, victim of circumstances, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Started out as a m240 machine gunner in the 82nd Airborne and worked my way up to a weapons squad leader. Deployed to Afghanistan 19’-20’ and reclassed late last year to a Firefighter (12m).

Squids, Jarheads, Ground Pounders and Zoomies...What about the Puddle Pirates? The legendary Shallow Water Sailors? You know, the guys who's only shallow water sailing they did was in the tub with yer ol'e ladies? You know the guys that drove the best landing craft for Normandy, landed Jarheads and saved them, underfire, at Guadalcanal. Running the 82ft brown water patrol boats in VietNam. Pretty much we ended up in all the wars since 1790. That's right..even Afganistan. Crazy right? Little known and we love it!!
You all got a Coastie on this site...USCG 1989-2009 a BM2 qualified Surfman-WW

ps...I"m dying to see a Space Force guy pull his head off the XBox and speak up LOL

Navy nuke ELT. 6 and out. USS Dallas, SSN 700. Fast attack/special ops boat fitted with a dry deck shelter and seal delivery vehicle. I just made sure the reactor and steam plant stayed running and didn’t kill us.

Meet a few Coastie's on a river in Iraq and was thankful for the ride. Last time I ever made a Coast Guard joke-- those guys had balls of steel for sure.

USAF medical corps, 1997-2009. Spent a short stint in iraq and got my
Ocular trauma fellowship there, took out more eyeballs than i want to remember.
Miss the people, dont miss the red tape. Glad i got out when i did. The new improved military is a little too PC for my taste.

kudos to all current military and vets! Glad to have you all as my brothers!
