There are lots of cheap carbon tripods out there typical sold as 40mm legs or 88 lb capacity. They won’t be as stiff as RRS or they will weigh 7 lbs instead of 4 lbs for the same capacity.
Leofoto is by far the best Chinese tripod, still far behind RRS, but they make lots of options and are the OEM for plenty of companies.
Longtime Leofoto user here. They have been great for the price and has a wide range of choices. I dislike the fact they basically copied RRS designs. Apparently, they try to differentiate from RRS in some details, but that's usually where the design flaws are, at least for some early (pre-2020) products.
