Years and years carrying a pin kit in a kayak, and a much bigger on on my raft. Used the big one on a pinned raft once. The little kit gets used occasionally on big game though.

You can generate a LOT of pull with a z-drag.

Dropped a bull last night, really happy. First moose and a 6 year wait of tag folded. Will post photos when I'm off mobile.
First bull moose. 257wby 90gr gmx, double lung, clipped the heart and he went 30 yards and crashed.

Managed to tag out yesterday in Alberta, arrowed the first one the last day of archery Sept. 23, 2023, then my wife filled her tag on Nov. 11, 2023. It’s been a great season so. Some awesome moose taken and congrats to all those successful hunters

Looking at moose hunts today. How and who can afford $35,000 for this type of hunt.
I don't think all that many people are paying that. That's the having your ass wiped for you price.

I think I had a touch over $500 in fuel and fat/spices for grinding this year for my Moose.

Very large fixed cost in the stuff that made the hunt happen, but I'd own that stuff regardless.
