Mexico has changed there regs this year and wont allow hollow point bullets! So I'm trying to find someone to load up some 28 nosler and 7prc stuff i suspect with Hornady ELD-X since my bergers are no beuno!

If you can’t find anyone Unknown Munitions is always an option. Curious as to why Mexico of all places has implemented that rule.

They come up with some new rule every couple of years like having your serial numbers on your scopes 3 years ago to get your gun permits! I have bought good ammo from unknown before on there website it says everything is out of stock!

They know our special forces is coming soon?

Not what you asked but why not just buy 60 factory ELdx or ELDm 7prc for the trip?

Do a sight in, 30 round zero, true it and shoot up the few remaining when you get back.

I don’t think it applies to properly gov “permitted and documented” rifles/ammo, they had a hollow point restriction for years, essentially that’s what gets you in jail if they find any unpermitted/documented ammo in your vehicle. Example a loose 9mm HP round in floor board.

disclaimer- I did a few searches and cant find any additional info or new laws, but it’s a possibility that they did do a certain rifle ammo ban.

I just bought some from Midway! They are telling the guys the get our paperwork and deal with the military everyday no hollow points and the cattlemen's association is telling the same to the ranch owners. Just another hoop to get to the last frontier!

It would all depend on who your get as the inspecting officer that day, sometimes it takes 10 mins to get across and other times it takes 2 hours.
