I know there are those that do it, but are any of you willing to raise your hand and share experiences and loads?
The “make sure to get multiple rounds in them” is the part that usually gets left outJust about every older guy I talk to around town here in White Sulphur Springs, MT has shot and killed elk successfully with a .243. Majority seem to shoot anything from 80-100 grain. They keep the shots shorter and make sure to get multiple rounds in them.
Excellent shot. How far was that Ryan?My little 6cm is 5-0 on elk.
