Picked one up on a trade to tinker with, should have it middle of next week, heard they are a dream to shoot. Anyone using for elk or mule deer that can give me some real world chrono numbers?
Evan and I set mine up at the shop after I got it and I shot it through the chrono.
424 gr at 299 fps, 70.2 lbs at 29.75" draw length, short posted the draw stop to 70% letoff.
Had it a few months, shoots great but when fully rigged out it is heavy.
Love mine. I busted up my sight last week but starting to get it back into shooting shape this week. Its a tack driver no doubt. As Jason pointed out, its a bit heavy but for how well it shoots its worth every ounce
This includes: 5 pin hogg father, tight spot, 5 arrows @ 438 gr each, qad hdx rest, 10" bee stinger front stabilizer with 2 oz of weight and a quick release, and an 8" bee stinger side bar with 4 oz and a quick release.
Great shooting bows. The new Alloy is a great bow as well and real world weight feels a lot lighter than what the spec sheet shows. All of the Primes are super easy to set up, tune and to shoot. I liken it to a heavy barrel rifle the way they sit on target.
Set it up yesterday and just didn't enjoy shooting it like I thought I would, I'm sure if I keep shooting it I'll enjoy it, but I have a bow I love already, so I'm in going to keep looking.
One thing I did enjoy, which completely shocked me, and is a testament to their parallel cam technology, was how fast I was able to set my center shot and get a bullet hole. Pretty cool stuff.
