Want a wide semi rectangular/mummy down bag with a 0 degree rating. Who other than Western Mountaineering makes one? Would prefer to not spend $1200.

The stone glacier is roomy and the new argali might be an option.
Not sure the SG Chilkoot is as wide as I’m looking for.

Does anyone have one? Is the material stretchy? Move with you?

If you want roomy, a quilt, and more specifically a zenbivy are going to have way more room and be cheaper. Most of the country is plenty cold enough right now to experiment with how far down you can take the 10 degree version using heated Nalgene bottles by your feet.

I just ordered a Big Agnes Anvil Horn in 0 degree. Like the OP I was looking for a roomy 0 degree bag too. I hear BA is liberal with their temp ratings so I will have to see how close to 0 degrees it actually is. I contacted BA support and the person said they are rated for a 10 degree comfort rating. It arrives tomorrow so I will hopefully have time to test out this weekend. I paid less that $300 for mine. Definitely not WM quality but if it gets me close to 10 degrees or so I will be happy.

The Nemo bags are roomy. Made for side sleepers, they call it the spoon shape I think. A world of difference between that and my last true mummy bag.

I’m over BA. Their temp ratings have damn near killed me.

I have the sg. I am an active side sleeper and it’s the only bag that I haven’t fought and tangled in. It does have some stretch. Definitely worth a look. I know Scheels has them and maybe a few other shops.
