I have recently been searching for a good pair of hunting pants to buy before next season. I am a 20-year-old who primarily whitetail hunts in Kansas. I hunt mostly out of tree stands with anywhere from a 200-yard walk in to a mile and a half. I am looking for a pair of pants that would be good for around 35-55 degrees. I have TideWe bibs that I wear when it gets pretty cold, but they get pretty warm when it’s in the 40s or higher.

My main requirement is ventilation. I am not brand specific, I am just looking for a good quality option that ideally doesn't completely break the bank, but for a high quality piece, I don't mind spending up a bit.

I have looked into Kuiu Encounter pants, some of the King's camo lineup, and the Asio midweight sherpa-lined pants.
I am interested in some of the Asio gear because of their pattern, but thought the sherpa may get super warm on walk-ins. Would love to hear from someone who owns a pair

Thanks a bunch, guys. I appreciate any and all suggestions

Kuiu attack when on sale. Kuiu pants have the hip vents to dump heat. The Attacks are pretty much a mid season pant, Kutana is early season, and the Guide is later season

Sitka stratus bibs, kuiu proximity, first lite core, phase, or uncompahgre, kings wind defender. Anything that’ll keep me warm enough at 35-55, I’m packing in if my walk is more than a few hundred yards. Full length side zips vent good and make it easy to get on at the tree without taking boots off. Buy gently used from the classifieds to save some money.

Eddie Bauer guide pro lined pants. You can get them on sale for $50 throughout the year. Sitting in a stand in the 50’s requires nothing special or expensive. Get a good pair of base layers and you can get as low as you want before the bibs come out.
