Which suppressor should I get

I’m currently building a Tikka Rough tech lite .300 WM leupold vx5 HD scope. 5/8 24 threaded barrel 24” long. I’ve been doing a ton of research but this is a conflicted topic it seems. I would like to stay as short as possible while achieving hearing safe suppression and maintaining accuracy. I’ve been looking at the banish 30. I’m curious if someone is running this rifle and what suppressor they’re using.

Rifle is immaterial to this decision. All that matters is cartridge and your desired preferences. You need to know if certain manufacturers have barrel length restrictions for your cartridge, and if you have desired overall length restrictions and weight restrictions.

Scythe (info here regarding concerns)
LPM Mach series
CGS Hyperion
AB Raptor
TBAC

Plenty more as well. I just chose a LPM Mach K

I have a Banish 30 and I am very happy with it. I have friends who have other brands that have already been mentioned here. They all seem to do a good job and if you could do a blindfolded test I think it would be very hard to tell them apart. Go with the Banish 30 or any of the other manufacturers mentioned here and you will be happy.

I like my banish 30 on my 300wm a lot but I have no experience with anything else. My 12 year old likes to shoot it and he killed a deer with that setup last season so it does everything I hoped for when I bought it.

I have a Banish 30. I think Silencer Central ropes in a lot of hunters with free tax stamps deals advertised through partners like On-X. Or convinces folks that they need a user serviceable can for cleaning. It seems like they sell a lot of Banish 30s to people that are new to suppressors. There have been a lot of mixed customer support experience testimonials for Silencer Central on here and other forums.

It's an alright, but not spectacular can, in it's 9 inch configuration. It's not that effective in the 7 inch configuration. It isn't a great hunting can. The Banish 30 has a proprietary thread pitch. Down the road, if you decide you want something like a Plan B style or rearden mount on all your guns then it won't be compatible with the Banish 30 unless Silencer Central starts making those type of mounts.

At $1000, the Banish 30 isn't a good value for what it is. There are many better value options.

I have a Banish 30 from Silencer Central, and a Diligent Defense Enticer S-Ti that I bought from Capitol Armory. I prefer the Enticer S-Ti but still use both on different guns.

I haven't seen a bad testimonial on Capitol Armory. I had a really good experience with them, as well.

I am about to buy my first one. I am going with the Silencer Co Hybrid due to the flexibility. I can use it on everything from my AR all the way to my Marlin 45/70.
