Which rings and Swaro for Model 70 .270

Picked up a Winchester Model 70 .270 in a trade and was wondering which mount rings and Swaro (or similar quality) scope would be a good fit for this rifle.

Requirements are:
- 500yd range
- 40-42mm objective (probably)
- lowest possible profile
- brh reticle, no turret

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I put a swaro Z3 3-10x42 with talley one piece lows rings and that sits pretty low on my kimber. I also use the brh reticle for that scope instead of dialing. You will be at ten power at longer ranges so once you figure out the yardage for each line you will be set. Swaro has an app that will get you close to each line.

I have an armload of pre 64 model 70's and almost always use talley 1pcs lows, they work well with swaro Z3's.

Thank you! Any specific model numbers for the rings or are they mostly the same? It should fit with low rings on the 40/42.

I had a pre-64 with a Swarovski
3-10 x 42 with tally basis and tally CD low rings. Worked well but I never shot it beyond 400
