I have a Kuiu Pro 1850.

I have had it 3 years. It has been very durable and comfortable for day hunts, but I am not happy with how it works when loaded down heavy.

It will between SG and EXO for my next bag.

Got it. Good to know. I've not done a lot of research so I didn't know if there was anything specific about the Kuiu bags that sucked.

MuleDeerMike Initial ascent is at the top of my list for that reason. I actually was in the Boise area recently and looked them up but couldn't find their shop in Middleton. Not sure if they moved and google isn't current or what. Tried calling them but no one answered.

I’ve had a few different brand of packs. And by far the kuiu pro pack is the most comfortable. I’ve got the pro 6000 and went backcountry in Idaho for a week. My hunting partner had the same and loved his as well. We had about 50 pounds in ours and it was very comfortable. Kuiu has a ton of adjusts so it can fit your body like a glove. Very light weight and durable. It would be a no brainer for me. But I have not tried every pack in the game either. Go kuiu! Plus they have a sale on packs right now. I think 30% off?
