Looking at ordering a set next month. Idea is to consolidate 2 pieces of gear into 1.
Which model do y’all prefer?
Looking at the Leica Geovid Pro
8x42, 10x42, or the 8x56 .
Leaning towards the 10x42

The 10 is the one I would pick if I were consolidating. I used standard Leica 10x42s for many year from sheep hunting in the Yukon to hunting the cedar swaps for deer at home with no complaints.

Hope you have better luck with their rangefinders than I did. I loved the geovids, especially the glass, but both pair I had went to never reading past 400 yards if i was lucky.

I’ve sheep hunted the past few years with geovid HD-B 3000s. They are awesome and I would highly recommend. I just got a set of GeoVid pro 10x32s and they seem just as great. I wanted the Bluetooth capability. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring either to the sheep hills. Never had any issue ranging up to 2000 yds. I’ve always ran 10x sheep hunting and seems to work great.
