Which Franchi Model?? I need help deciding.....

I am going to order a new 20 gauge Franchi Affinity 3.

Help me decide between the Upland Elite, standard with walnut stock, or standard black synthetic stock.

Can’t speak to the upland/20ga models, but I have 3 Affinities, all 12ga, and have insight into some of the differences between the models. I started with the waterfowl elite 3.5, then picked up a camo 3.5 and then a black synthetic 3.0. If I did it over again, I don’t think I’d pay the extra money for the elite. The cerakote, extended chokes and upgraded front bead are nice, but not worth the extra $. You can upgrade the bead and chokes for significantly less than the cost of the upcharge for the elite. If cerakote is important to you, it might be worth it though. Regardless of “trim level” they’re fantastic shotguns for the money.

My vote is for the black synthetic. It's a couple hundred dollars cheaper and I know that I personally would be way more upset dinging up a wood stock than a plastic one.

Black synthetic is the ugliest shotgun known to man in my opinion.

I like pretty upland guns, I’d go walnut/blue.

Any synthetic! I have a beautiful brown cerakoted affinity with plastic bottomlands stocks. I don't shoot it well, but I'd keep it forever if it had wood.
