Thinking of picking up a 4x16 credo. But wonder which reticle. Have heard the standard duplex is a little thin and I am not sure I will like the other one with the target dot. I have a few scopes with dots and feel sometimes it’s hard for me to really get precise when the dot covers the target.
Have read up on both pros and cons. Just need to make a decision. Going to set it on my 300wm as a dependable hunting scope I won’t have to worry about.
Thanks for any insight

I like the MOA Center Dot on my 2.5-15x, but I also prefer that style of useful but still somewhat minimal reticle. As you have read, it is a bit thin. It's like the center section of a Duplex without the thick outer lines, so it can take a split second to see where the center is. I'll still take it over a duplex, any day of the week.

Thanks - I will think it over tonight. I would just be doing dialing so I might just do the straight duplex
