Anybody use Pac Not Barrels?
They rebuilt the shop after the fire and were taking orders last fall.Pac nor are good tubes, but unless someone brought them back.....they quit.
It doesn't have to be but want a oddball cartridge. I might go with a 275 Rigby also.If you are looking to reduce recoil, does it have to be 7x57? Brownells sells short chambered mauser barrels for like $90 that are excellent in my experience. I think they are shaw. They have em in 6.5x55 and 25-06, which will both be lighter kicking in your rifle than 7Mauser
I haven't heard of them. I will check them out. Nice looking rifle. What stock did you use?I just did a large ring with a Wilson from Ragged Hole. Very happy. Mausers are fairly straight forward, at least the large ring (my one and only Mauser barreling experience). Mine is a commercial Zastava and there was very little reason to true. The c-ring and action face were within a half a thou of each other. It shoots very well. This is rounds 2-7 out of a brand new barrel. 35 Whelen.
