What speed were you getting?
Fully cranked down with 28.5" arrows and 100 grain heads yielded 290. Not sure with two cranks out. Prolly not much less as the arrow stabilized much sooner, in theory.

What speed were you getting?
What was your raw shaft length ? I will plug some of those 200's in this evening and get back with you. Been running those programs for quite some time and no what I usually can get away with, even when they are on the weak side.
Shane, I have a Spyder Turbo 70/29.5 with Axis 300s. I had to turn the bow down 2 cranks to get it to BH tune. I want to run 150 grain heads so I am planning on Gold Tip 200s. Thoughts?
hey on target.. will you plug my numbers in for those gold tip 200s??
28 inch draw length. 28 inch arrow.. 75 grain HIT brass inserts.. will that show you what bh weight and stuff should tune??
What were your specs on the Axis arrows ? The GT 200's will be plenty stiff even with 150 gr heads
28.5" ctc
I plan on using the 200s but right now I am using the Axis 300s, these will both be the same length. I will use HIT in the Gold Tips with 150 grain heads.
Does that answer your question?
What is the total weight up front on the Axis ?
100 grain head with aluminum HIT. I will be using 150 grain head and aluminum HIT in the Gold Tips as well.
According to Easton's website the HITs are 16 grains.
You would be just fine with your 300 Axis arrows as well. What tuning issues were you having with them ?
Left tear.
Two other question:
1-Can I run 150 grains with my 300 Axis arrows?
2-At what poundage does the 300s become too weak?
A little yoke adjustment would have probably taken care of that with the 300's and 100 gr tip
Now if you wanted to run the 150 gr on the 300's you probably wont see the best results until you get between 63 - 65 #'s at that raw shaft length.
