I’ve got a 6 arc in an AR and 6 Creed in the bolt gun. Love the 6 creed and think I will like this even more with the factory 80 ELD VT’s. Running 108’s right now
Same boat, I've got a R700 SA I'm going to rebarrel into a 6CM, and all of the parts to build another AR in 6 ARC. Would prefer to go with one new toy right now. Which do you grab first/most?

I have a tikka action that I put a 6creed proof carbon fiber wrapped barrel on with an ag composites stock and its lights out all day with factory 103eldx. I’ve had it out to 800yd and getting solid impacts the whole way.

I'm bummed my 6 ARC Proof barrel doesn't love the 80's (1.5 to 2.0 MOA) so I'm sticking with the 108's in that rifle (0.75 to 1.0 MOA) and understanding I will have to deal with the trajectory. I was making very consistent (~75%) hits on a 33% IPSC at 775y and 10-15mph full value winds with the ARC and 108's so it's hard to complain about that.

If I'm yote hunting at night were shots will very likely be inside 300y, I'm grabbing the ARC every time because it weighs almost half what my Creed does. Any possibility of further shots and the Creed is coming loaded with the 80 ELD VT's (when sighted in 0.4 MIL high at 100y, I have a 1 MIL hold to 400y and 1.7 MIL hold at 500y). I'm getting ~3150fps out of my 22" Proof carbon 6 CM barrel with the factory 80's.

I'm kinda bummed because I wish my 6 Creed bolt gun would prefer the 108's and the ARC prefer the 80's, but it's the other way around haha. That 6 Creed shoots the 108's very well too but I see no reason to shoot those at yotes when it shoots the 80's just as well

I use the 123 gr. SST in my 6.5 Grendel. I have used it on hogs, deer and antelope,
But my favorite is my 6mm IMP. 90-95 gr. Nosler Accubond. Shots like a laser and hits hard.

I have a Bergara in 6creed and it shoots 1/2" with factory 108's. Only shot 4 coyotes with it but all drt. I just switched to 70gr bks with Varget at 3723fps. I wanted a flat round for night hunting with thermal out to 3-350 yards. Only shot 1 so far but drt.

If you just want to shoot “regular” bullets, just do a .243.

If you want to take advantage of the long high BC bullets, I’d recommend a 6 Creedmoor.

I quit counting at 200, but have got to be approaching 300 coyotes now with mine, shooting the 108 ELD-Ms and am just tickled pink with it. Have killed coyotes from shotgun distance to 760 yards thus far and have only had five issues. Two of which would have been issues no matter what, just poor hits.

Really diggin’ those 108s.

I’m am starting a build in 6mm rem AI. It’s a good fit for a medium action and should have a decent edge on the 243/6 creed. If somebody started making quality brass for the 6mm rem I think it would make a comeback, perfect fit for a tikka. I’ve got an old Winchester m70 I’m using as a donor and they will feed and fit in the bdm with long bullets seated way out.

I currently have a 6mm ARC AR and have a 6mm Creed bolt gun that is mostly built. I was originally going to run a Solus action, but didn't want to wait on a barrel. Ended up with a Defiance Classic and Proof carbon prefit that I managed to snag on sale and put me in the price range of my Solus build, just waiting on two bolts for the chassis to finish her up and start the break in. I was originally between a 22 Creed and 6 Creed and opted for the 6 at the end of the day.

If shooting smaller animals, a lot of the "pro" level guys really love the 70gr Nosler Ballistic Tip - Varmint bullets. I'm also planning to try the 80gr ELD-VT bullets as well and see which shoots better. If you are running only factory ammo, 6mm Creed will have the factory support and has a proven track record with predator hunting. Personally im moving down from a 6.5 creed running 95vmax to a 6 creed with the goal of picking up a bit of velocity and hopefully not blowing up every one I shoot.

1000001836.jpgAfter falling in love with my 6 arc bolt gun it was time to throw an ar together, put this odin 18 inch barrel on an aero I got for cheap. I threw together a couple random loads of 105s and lvr just to get it half broke in and the first group I shot with them was sub inch at 100 5 shots, then I tried some loads that work well in my bolt gun ( they are ar pressures) and it shot .67" at 100 and 2840 fps. Recoil is laughable so definitely don't overlook the little 6mm arc. A long barreled bolt gun has stupid potential if the short barrels aren't your thing

Im in the process of building on a solus action. Ive currently got a 243 howa that this build was intended to replace. But now im thinking why not switch to a more modern cartridge. I want to stay with the 87-100gr bullets no real plans to shoot the 115’s. Have considered 6gt, xc, creed, SLR. What are yall running with this weight class bullet?
6 Creed and 87 V-Max has worked great for me. I haven't shot factory ammo, but it is available. I have had no runners and am getting 3280 fps out of an 18" barrel. loaded up some 80gr eld-vt to try. They should be as good or better than the 87s.

What twist is your barrel?

Sweet, thats what twist my barrel is. Wasnt sure the 87’s were going to hold together. Havent gotten to shoot it yet, still waiting on the warranty department at Aero Precision.
I have shot them as close as 30 yards, sometimes you have to look for blood, other times there is a huge hole.

Well I guess I am still in the dark side. In my 243 I use the 58 gr, Vmax and the 55 gr, Ballistic tips pushed to around 3750 fps. Where I hunt they are heavily pressured and you better shoot fast. I have a 6 Grendel and a 243. So far those bullets have killed everything shot no sweat. The rifle with Hornady 87 gr. HPBT takes deer down as well as could be asked. I personally don't have a need but if I did I would try a 1-8 twist 6 Creed.

I'd vote for a 243AI. You can reuse all your brass and it's easy to ID if you end up shooting competitions. Oh yeah, the critters don't like it either.
