Where to find tikka t3x ss 7mm08?

Realistically, whatever your rifle likes. Deer die easy when shot in the lungs. Start cheap, Federal Power Shok or Fusion should be readily available and it’s surprisingly lethal. Buy a bunch of whatever shoots and get used to it. 140 grain is your huckleberry.

Norma Whitetail is another good option. I've used it in 3 different calibres and have had no issues... and they're stupid cheap, and good brass if you want to reload it later on

Ill get a few types of cheap stuff in 140, im just excited to shoot a lot. I read lots of good things about the nosler bt, not worth it?

I keep seeing this on here. People getting indignant because a particular cartridge is referred to as a “caliber”. Go check your Tikka or your Browning. Stamped on the side of the barrel it says Cal. 7mm-08 Rem. Or Cal. .243 Win. Yes caliber designates projectile diameter generally, but obviously rifle manufacturers are using the term to describe specific cartridges. Good enough for them, good enough for me. I’ll keep shooting and tallking about my 7-08 caliber Tikka, and my 30-06 caliber Remington. Although I refuse to “run“ them.

To the op. I’ve had good luck in my Tikka 7-08 with Norma Whitetail. BTW if you shoot abunch of that up I’ll buy the brass off you.

Im going to get some fusions and Winchester BT, do you want those brass or only norma?
Thanks, but I’m pretty locked in on PPU, Norma, and Hornady brass. Not that it’s the best stuff in the world, just what was available and what I used for load development. I don’t want to introduce new variables with different brass. Save your empties though, somebody on here will probably buy em off you.

Edit: Nothing wrong with Federal or Win brass… I use both in my .243 and 30-06.
