Thanks for the reply! I went to order one but looks like they sold out of the explorer plus and just have the mini in stock. I'll definitely keep my eye out for them to come back in stock there.

@Totoro I signed up for emails and it gave me a 10% off code. I believe they may offer a Rokslide code if you give them a call but not sure about that.

I too am looking to by a Garmin Inreach and thought the REI sale might be the best deal. Unfortunately they don't offer the usual 20% one full price item this year. All I've received is a 20% an REI Outlet item for the Labor Day sale. Those are definitely not in the Outlet.
