What Sportsmatch part number do I need for a 50mm obj 30mm body on a t3x? Can I get away with medium height?
I don't think so I use them(T084) with a 42mm trijicon and a 44mm leupold and with butler creek caps there is less than 3mm clearance

Depending on the scope and where you position it- sometimes. I have used two 50mm scopes with TO84’s, but it is close.

Passing on for further reference Airgun of AZ was super helpful but they are not going to have T084 rings until at least August of 2022.

Tactical Scope / Nickwake showed them in stock. Ordered Saturday and they arrived Thursday from the UK. Solid coms from them on order status. Only downside is the rings were 30# and shipping was 35# so the total was about $80 Vs $50 plus shipping from AoA.

I just received a set of the to84's from Ian Hodgefield Sports in the UK. Took about 10 days to get them. Edit to add- Shipping was $15.00.

I ordered a set from tacticalscope.co.uk on Wednesday and they were delivered Friday. That’s 2 days.... I can’t even get something shipped from my own state that quickly.

I don’t understand why no other company has made rings similar to the T084. Even those rings have a lot of room for improvement
What do you think needs improving?

Just mounted mine up on my tikka 6.5 CM

a couple of observations for posterity:

- my t084 rings are fine for my 2.5-10x42 with plenty of clearance for the bell and a scope cover. they would not fit a shorter 50mm scope I tried.
- comes with hex head screws so you will need that bit for your torque wrench. 3mm maybe. I forgot now.
- my set was greasy as hell. Lots of acetone, paper towels and q tips.
- you will end up with 4 screw holes in the top of the receiver - they are 6-48 1/18 plug screws. Factory tikka are $40 from Midwest gun works and are some kind of plastic. Brownels And midway sell metal screws For $10-15. Be careful as they must be flush or countersunk a bit or they will contact the bottom of the mounts and keep you from getting a solid flush fit. I used two to plug the holes not covered by the bases. I wouldn’t really care if they didn’t go all the way through the receiver.
- scope sits a bit lower than it did in a rail / medium ring combo.

I'll echo this. I've order these TO84s from a few places and Tactical Scope delivered in 3 business days from the UK to California. Recommended.

Dosent warne make something similar? The t3 (pre T3x) rifles came with clamp on rings that have a recoil lug but they were 1”.
