Where can I shoot lots of does for cheap

I just want to get some meat and enjoy the whitetail woods, maybe take a trip with my son in the next couple years and get him on some deer. I know everyone's managing for big bucks, surely there's some places where they want to thin the doe population later in the season. Any leads/ ideas? thx
Hard to beat Texas for numbers. We used to do a hill country hunt during Dec and catch the 2nd rut. Not the biggest deer but man there were tons of em. Turkeys, pigs, deer - it was the most target rich hunting I have ever experienced.

Various private schools in rural Alabama will host hunts as fundraisers. Seems the going rate is around $1000 for 2-3 days. Usually allowed one buck and two does.

I was going to say Tennessee there are some wmas that have special regs for does. 4 per day don't go against your tags. Or at least they did last time I went 5 years ago.

Anywhere in the south is going to have generous tags. We have friends that come down from Alaska almost every year and take plenty of whitetail home with them
Tennessee has never been 4 does a day.

Michigan. You can buy up to 10 doe tags over the counter. High deer densities

How much of Georgia and Alabama is public? Thought most was Club country? We used to do Texas, but the prices went way up after covid.
What you are not being told is you can only shoot one doe a day. You can't burn multiple doe "tags" in one day on Alabama public unlike private land. Also depending on the WMA in Alabama, you might only be able to shoot one deer a day. So on a 7 day archery hunt, you can only shoot 7 does on most is not all of the public here in Alabama. Unlike some other states where you can shoot 2+ a day depending on how many tags you have in your pocket. If you are trying to get the best "bang for your buck" I would not look to Alabama to stack does even though we have a good population.

Anyone who thinks 7 does in a week isnt a lot of deer either doesnt eat venison, has 37 ravenous kids, or needs to stop and come up for air and remember just how awesome they have it.
