When do you trim?

I trim when needed....I have the Franklin Arsenal case trimmer...I can trim, chamfer and debur 100 pieces in 15-20 minutes once I get the trim length set.

The ID and OD chamfers are more important than the trim length; they determine bullet and chamber neck contact length. The face of the case neck isn’t touching anything.

Is that a 3 way? I’d prefer a self contained unit. Not mine I have to hook up to a drill motor.

Actually if you count the pocket cleaner it's a 4way....I also picked up 3D printed tray to catch the brass shavings on etsy...pretty sweet set up.

Pro tip...if gonna be doing more than 100 pieces at time wear a glove...

Looks like it has separate cutters for those jobs. That’s not a 3 way cutter.
