Wrapped up this weekends hunting...
Tried out a new spot, finally found a spot where the big boy elk live in CO, had some close encounters, managed to mess everything up on all occasions or i'd post a hero photo....
All the big boys were alone (not unusual), and actually got onto a group of the biggest elk ive seen outside a national park in CO that had 2 x very large bulls with a few 5x5's..... heard no, saw no cow elk anywhere in the area
I guess normally i'd expect those bachelor groups to be broken up by the 27th of September? or is that something folks run into that late into september pretty commonly?
