Well I looked at a Smith and Wesson 69 last spring and had to get one. So the Good Lord blessed me with the overtime to make the purchase.

I'd saying calling myself a Glock fan boy is a fair generalization of my handgun experience. Have one on as I type this...

So what do I need to do to this as far as cleaning and lubing it? Should I go ahead and clean the bore out and relube it like any other? And wipe out the cylinders?

Now I just gotta save up the money for dies and components!

Yeah, keep it well oiled just like any other firearm and keep the cylinders clean. For the face of the cylinder and around the forcing cone (not down the barrel) use Flitz to get off the burnt powder. It will keep it looking like new for the stainless finish.

I oil the crane, cylinder, case ejector and hammer. I'll also put a dab of grease where the ejector contacts the recoil shield. Also, you may or may not know this, but please do not spin the cylinder and slam it shut. Revolvers don't like that. Nice revolver and enjoy.
