What's your standby Whitetail hunting knife?

Buck 119 has always done the trick for me... probably overkill but it stays in the pack so it's not in the way on my hip!

ESEE Ashley AGK and Cold Steel Pendleton Lite - Love the ESEE but the Cold Steel does most of the work because it was cheap, stainless, and is extremely easy to replace. I stopped using folders about 10 years ago...

I have used the Argali Carbon for the last two years. Nothing but good to say about it. Multiple whitetails, two antelope and a mule deer since i got it.

Mora Companion with a carbon steel blade, I have two that I cold blued to keep the rust down. At $15-20 each you can buy several to keep around and they hold an edge very well.

I have a outdoor edge edc that i have used for the last few years to field dress. Least year i used my Bark river mini gunny lt. That worked like a champ and will be in my pack this year probably.

Schrade with gut hook. Same one for 35 years, unbeatable. May need to find a new one the blade is starting to get thin.
