What's your hunting rig?

My main one is 2008 Chevy 2500hd diesel. Have a 34 Toyo rt trail, icon shocks cognito uca with it leveled out and some trimming. Truck rides pretty good off road. I really think great shocks can really make a hd truck ride better. It’s still stiff compared to my 1500 but it’s very controlled. My 2024 1500 is my daily driver I’m about to put the eibach stage2r leveling kit on it. Coilover are adjustable so will be set at 2-2.5” and the rear is getting a 2.5” block.

For rough stuff we have a 15 ruby w/ 3.5” AEV lift on 35s. So far I’ve upgraded steering to yeti smart steering, Adam’s drive shafts, warn 10k winch. Roof rack is critical in getting all our stuff back there and meat out.

I just hunt out of my pickup… 37s, Carli pintop 4.5” lift, kings 2.5 resivour shocks, deaver springs. Rides awesome for a one ton, and has a ton of clearance and travel. Works pretty slick that i can tow the camper and then unhook and go if im on a road based hunt. IMG_0633.jpegIMG_5171.jpegIMG_3952.jpeg

I love it. In the process of going from my 18 to a 2026 350. I’ve got 6” plus lift on it now, thinking 4” for the next one.

Carli makes some amazing suspensions. They are lifts meant to actually perform and give you travel, not just ground clearance. That first picture with it twisted to hell I could still open all 4 doors and the tailgate.

Not so much old-skool charm here but the pop up camper gets ready quick and propane heater makes it pretty dang cozy down to 10-15F so far

Yea it’s gonna take some coin!
My big concern is how a new truck feels tight and firm, the older I get the more the big lifts just feel
Loose

The Carli systems truly are a step above the rest. Their geometries are dialed, and if you can work with a good alignment shop to get it dialed to their specs, you really Don’t feel like you’re driving a lifted truck.

It’s gonna be the way I go for sure. Just waiting on some life changes hopefully in the next month or two then buy the new truck
