According to the powers that be, we must justify the existence of this new subforum. I know we've had a few of these threads in the past, but this will be a chance to have one here.

I'll go first.

06 4Runner Limited, 4.7L v8. Currently 256,000ish miles. Mostly stock, has a mild leveling lift on the front. Just put a set of 265/65/18 Milestar Patagonia AT Pro tires on it, on the recommendation of my local shop.4 runner.jpg

Built a box out of 3/4 plywood and covered it in bedliner paint to go in the back. There's just enough room between it and my seats to have a Plano tote with tools, recovery gear, extra water, etc.

Sometimes I pull the box out, fold the seats down, and sleep in one side, with coolers and totes in the other side as needed.

Now let's see some other rigs!

Just picked up to start building it's a 1992 montero. 1 owner. 225k miles. And paid $1 for it. Hope to have it ready for my December hunts. Doing everything myself. Got a build thread started as some ask me to keep them updated..just search Montero.

My hunting truck for past 8 years is below. 2017 f250 with a diy build sleeping platform in the back for this fall...it changes between the topper and a locked tonneau depending on the hunt. 20220907_204416.jpg20240329_185324.jpgIMG_20250923_203257.jpg

Both rigs are cool, but I really like that Montero!

2002 Isuzu Trooper

- Bought in 2022
- Auto transmission (notoriously bad) crapped out in 2023 during elk season
- Swapped in a manual transmission in 2024 and the Trooper has been living up to its name since
- I’ve done a decent bit of work along the way - brakes, rotors, wheel bearings, ball joints, cv boots, fluids, roof rack
- next up: light bar (headlights and hi beams are really not great)

I never saw an Isuzu in any of the other vehicle threads, but I also never bothered to post. Proud to put the first picture of an Isuzu on the Rok!

First hunting rig, an '05 Camry:cd1adcac43db7949efa646a366e6c4d5.jpg
Then a '14 Forester:

And now and '08 Tundra:20250225_121044.jpg20250923_191645.jpg

Just starting to get some convenience upgrades done to the tundra. Broke the back glass so I figured I'd kill 2 birds with one stone and try to prevent that from happening and make an easy place to mount lights. I also swapped the head unit and put a backup camera and a front facing trail clearance camera in it.

2020 TRD Off road Tacoma. Basically a Swiss Army knife truck. Alu cab canopy camper / 63 quart arb fridge running off solar on roof, old man emu heavy 7 leaf +500 lb Dakar springs to support it all. A few lights and winch on the front, Goodyear boulder MT tires which are new - highly recommend these. Just spent three weeks on bad roads and they have been great in Co, NV and WY. Will go anywhere and very comfortable to sleep in. Getting in and out of the top bed part requires some planned movements at 6 1”.
