What’s your go to?

I usually carry my Tikka t3x lite roughtech .308 with a dead air nomad can. 150 grain soft point, pick your favorite brand. Works great, but so have 6.5 cm, 30-06, 300 win mag, 7mm rem mag, .270... The more critters I shoot with rifles the more I find the caliber doesn't matter. Going to shoot a few with the RS darling 77 grain tmk this season and see how it goes.

Im in a shotgun/ straightwall state. Savage 220 shooting 2 3/4 remington accutips. Vortex pst 1-6x with a illuminated red dot on the middle of the crosshairs. If a deer is past 150 yards I become a photographer instead of a hunter.

I’m an Ohio guy that hunts eastern PA woods so I run a 350L. It’s a Howa Mini Action with a Stockys stock. I like it well enough but I’m eyeing the new Tikka Ranch in 350L.

Go to has always been Remington Model 7 in .243, 7-08, or .308.
Been using a Howa Mini in 350L in straight wall areas.
Just picked up a Howa Superlite Short in 7-08 for this season in regular rifle area. Ridiculously accurate and feels like a .22 carrying

took a rem700 action and had a 7-08 built before last season. i run 120gr ttsx and its magic on texas bucks. its become my GoTo.
i started rotating rifles each season to keep them used and not just safe queens. ive had fun doing that but the 7-08 will get a couple more years in before in goes into rotation.

Last 3 years I've been using my 7ss with 180 hybrids. No issues at all, has dropped everything in its tracks.

Built a lightweight 7SAW this year shooting 150 eldx to use.

Is cool to see how many people shoot a 7mm08
