:) Yeah, I got that impression from reading over the last year. I’ve been GW for a bit longer than him over on another board so I can honestly say I’m not trying to surf his wake...just a snippet of a lyric from a Bob Seger song.

Texas.

Hunt Chocolate Horned bucks in the morning, catch Redfish on the coast mid-day, Blast some Redheads, Teal, Pin Tail in the evening, hunt hogs and coyotes at night...all in the same day.

South Dakota , archery is unlimited statewide and people are still decent enough to let you hunt unlike my current residency with the southern neighbor, they all want money for hunting deer and $5000 for a deer is quite steep.

Iowa as an archery hunter. And honestly southern Nebraska has some serious potential for rifle hunters.

Kansas because of the overall length of archery season, and the quality of game. Iowa as my second pick strictly because its harder to draw a tag.

Another vote for PA. Long seasons, good land access, tons of tradition. On opening day, you will find me in deer camp with family and friends. Sometimes the stories from the old timers are better than the hunting, but that’s what it’s all about. We hunt Luzerne county.

Kansas, smartest thing I did was buy my lifetime license before moving. Can buy deer tags at res price and hunt on the family farm. Nonstop from Seatac, can catch a plane at 6:00 am and in the stand for the afternoon hunt!
