I have had really outstanding accuracy and terminal performance with 150gr. accubonds from my 300 wsm. A Bighorn Sheep, Mule deer,Pronghorn and then I killed a Bull Elk with that load and I was wishing for more. I found one of the two bullets in the offside hide. It had lost over 30% of it's weight. I feel that if I had used a 180 gr. AB that would not have been the case.
Sectional density is the number I now look at when evaluating penetration.
I have had good luck with Barnes TSX and NP have always been performers as well.

While I don't have a favorite I'm gonna give the 180gr Sierra gameking a try this year.

Friend of mine just crushed a big wyoming bull in november with a 210 Accubond LR from his 300 win mag. Pretty impressive seeing how much it mushroomed and retained a lot of weight.

I would have to pick two. If the range was kept under 600 it would be an Accubond. Past 600 it would be a Berger.
