What's the most valuable thing you have found hunting?

I once found my bino harness full of goodies on a rock where I left them by the truck and my shotgun where I leaned it against my truck and drove off. I’d like to think I’m better now at scanning around before I drive off…

I found a really nice set of elk sheds this fall, glassed them down in a canyon off a 1000 ft cliff, marked them on Onx and came back a month later to grab them, was a 8 mile round trip and 1500 ft elevation drop down in that hole! 7x7 probably 350"

They were in the timber so are in really good shape.
Pictures please! And bonus if you have pictures of the hole they were in!

For me it wasn't something of economical value but finding old shotgun shells from the days before rifles being legal always seems to remind me that many folks enjoy the peacefulness of the outdoors!

About 15 years ago found a small fly box completely full of flies next to a small lake I was camping by. It had been there a while by the looks of it. It was OD green in color and had fallen between some rocks, miracle I even noticed it . I still use those flies to this day

Found a Kershaw Leek knife deer hunting one September. The next April found a Spyderco while turkey hunting.

Lost the Kershaw but carry the Spyderco daily still.

If anybody finds a Garmin inreach mini in Colorado please let me know. Haven't found anything close to what those cost even on sale

Last day of the season for deer. I went up to a place I told my wife I would be, I was solo and my wife likes to know where they should start looking if I don’t return. Did my hunt for the day and came back to the truck. Put some stuff away and was wondering around the area and something caught my eye. Went over to it, and it was a very well used tailgate pellet grill. Figured it was busted so I went back to the truck. Glassed a couple areas that had been burned for a bit and was ready to leave. I went back over to the grill and decided to bring it home. If it was toast I would just toss it in the metal recycling at the dump. My hopes were if it just needs a replacement part then yeah! Brought it home with me and put it under the treehouse. A few days go by and I decided to inspect it. Very dirty and well used. I plug it in and it turns on! Cleaned everything up on the inside, did what I could to the outside but very smoke stained. I like to call it a patina! I did by a digital temp probe and a new plug for it, along with a new antenna for the Wi-Fi capabilities! Score! Used it last night and it worked great!

I was shocked to see they sell for more than $300.

This is as good as I could clean up the outside. Like I said “patina”
