An ounce here or there for the action is irrelevant, good scopes are not light, neither is a decent barrel
In the past when I was fitter, younger and stronger I spent serious dollars on going lighter, jeez I wish I had all that money back

Ounces equal pounds. I generally chuckle to myself when I see people building "lightweight" guns with carbon barrels. Or a "lightweight" build that costs 4k+ and still comes out in the 7lb-8lb range. That's not light. That's one of the lighter factory guns and a non monstrous scope.
So, do take care of the ounces if you actually want a light gun.

Lone peak fuzion ti is 19.5 oz, integral recoil lug, integral rail, no shit to come lose. All these other 16-18oz actions, don't include the rail. It was my choice for a LW 6cm build. 20" benchmark lite sendero should finish some where bout 2.75#, peak44 bastion, 24oz, hawkins m5 oberndorf with wyatts mbe5 box. Believe I'll be right at 6#, maybe an oz or two under. I had a Forbes 24B 270 that I rebarreled to factory contour 6.5x284 at 22" had Melvin work over the action and rails for feeding. 5.6# was a great lil rifle but man it was a challenge to shoot tiny groups even tho the rifle was capable of great accuracy. There's a point where too lite starts to become a limitation.

Has anyone looked at the Howa mini actions? Theyre claiming the mini action is 10.2oz, short action is 13.1oz and long action is 15.2oz? Or is this just the bolt?

That’s probably the bolt weight. Supposedly the mini 223 receiver with bolt is 21.42oz that’s without the trigger or rail. Trigger is 1.59oz

Defiance has the Ti X action. Titanium, DLC coated, with integral scope rail and recoil lug at 16.8 oz for short action, 18.1 oz for long action.

I can confirm a mini 223 bolt is ~9.5oz so no way a complete action is 10.2oz.
I would bet the stated action weight of 10.2 is stripped. So no bolt nor trigger. Add those two and you are right over 21 ounces. Ridiculously light for something that you can buy off the shelf with a barrel for like $400.

You're probably right (or pretty close to) on the money there. I was going to take my mini and calculate the barrel weight but no need to do that at this point I think.

I will say that a Howa mini is definitely the cheapest way to get a light rifle by far.

My Mini 6ARC in a Stockys VG2 is 5 pounds 1 ounce and I have less than $800 in it I think bare rifle.

Is the Pure Precision SKLTN Ti titanium still the lightest Long Action on the market?

Their Ti long action is 16.5oz.

Likely, there's the Pierce skele-ti as well, it's stupid light. Unless those last few Oz are absolutely paramount, I'd go with a skltn steel, or Pierce shadow. Ti has shortcomings VS the one advantage is offers.
