What’s the lightest action?

Custom or production? I think the Pierce Ti actions are the lightest on the market, 16ish oz. Fieldcraft would have to be close for a steel action on a production rifle.

Mack Brothers Evo Ti is light and fairly affordable for a Ti action. It’s only available in a short action right now though.

The Pierce Ti is the lightest I've found in my research. They advertise as 18.5 I think, but I've seen a couple of articles with them weighing in right at, or just a shade under, 16 ounces.

Factory? Tikka is really light. Model 70 also

Model 70? That has to be the heaviest factory action. Tikka is no lightweight either at 30oz.

I'd wager a fieldcraft has to be at the bottom of the scale, near a kimber for factory. For custom, probably pierce:

The Pierce with Ti bolt option was the lightest several years ago. Not sure if anyone has made a lighter action or not.

Pure Precision (was Mesa) SKLTN Ti 16oz

How does one view or purchase the Silencer Tech 16 oz Ti action?

I believe email is the best. Barry (owner) buys chassis from us and has been involved in the shooting community for a long time. Great guy. Most of his suppressors have always been purchased just by word of mouth at matches or trade events. I am not sure if he has ever had a website, but if he does, it is buried in the web LOL

Has anyone looked at the Howa mini actions? Theyre claiming the mini action is 10.2oz, short action is 13.1oz and long action is 15.2oz? Or is this just the bolt?
