What’s the fastest you’ve driven?

This thread is going to be the death of me (thanks Marbles). Its like the horror film that terrifies you but you can't look away. You guys know that there is one quarter in the video game of life at the speeds mentioned in the majority of those posts, right? You can tell I'm a little risk averse when it comes to that right pedal and its distance from the firewall...

I got to 110mph in a 1994 Corsica and backed off as well. I felt like the car was gonna fall apart but the petal wasn't down all the way. Every other car/truck I've put to the max governed out at about 105 or less
My 90 Corsica was governed at 120. That car was a sleeper, same drivetrain as a Cavalier Z24 or Beretta GT but looked like a small family car. Mine was a rare hatchback to boot! Fastest I've driven.

I've had my 2012 Titan to about 110. It was still pulling but that's a lot of weight moving that fast.

The speeds on motorcycles y'all are reporting is nuts. Making my hands sweat on the keyboard.

I got to drive on the Autobahn (or whatever highway system) when I was 16. In a hatchback style Scion. Driving from Munich to Paris and it was a 12 hour drive. He let me go 120 for a minute or so, then dial back to 90. Pretty cool experience. Wish my parents would have let me drink a beer at the Hofbrau Haus.

22mph Cat 966F wheel loader
170 C5 'vette long straight between Mesquite & Vegas
150 911 997.1 c4s through a canyon with corners
150 911 991.1 freeway somewhere
130 '07 Duramax lot's of places
130 650 rwhp Chevelle SS 1/4 mile

I've spent a fair amount of time over 100. My 911 makes 130 feel like 60. At 150 she is still pulling hard with one more gear.

144 in my Mustang GT. Fun when your 16. At nearly 40, I shutter to think about how often I was pushing that car to high speeds.

Low 100s on the daily in a 93 Ford Probe GT when I was a stupid 16 YO 😂 Prob topped out in the 120s with that and a 93 Mustang LX 5.0 i had a couple years later.

High 90s a bunch on snowmobiles

Dont mess around with stuff like that anymore. Hit 60 on a yami Kodiak 700 on the way back to camp this summer which was more excitement than necessary.
