What’s the fastest you’ve driven?

Most scared I’ve ever been on a vehicle, I was riding the fender on one of those huge eight wheel John Deere tractors, helping a buddy feed some beef cattle in western WA. It had been raining a bit and the sod was saturated. We went off the top of a hill towing a heavy farm trailer with maybe 15 tons of hay on it. What came next can only be described as a sleigh ride. About 200 ft of descent controlled only by gravity and whipping the wheel back and forth to try and keep that tractor in front of the trailer. Probably never exceeded 25 mph, but my butthole puckered so hard I probly left a mark on the fender., and my hand probly dented the paint where I was grabbing the bar that holds the roof up.

That reminds me of working on the farm in eastern Washington back in the day, roading the tractor and baler over the hill to another field, mile long descent, push and hold the clutch. I think the fastest I ever got that tractor was about 50. Looking back on it I’m amazed I lived this long

216 mph in my brother's twin turbo gated manual Lamborghini Gallardo on a public road. Was fairly certain we were going to die if I didn't blackout before we died. I never rode in it again.

185 in a BMW 325i.....purely because I wasn't paying attention and I got a speeding ticket for 160.

2015 Suzuki GSXR 131
2017 Ford Mondeo rental car in Germany on the autobahn headed to the airport 220 Km/h wouldn't go any faster

I got to about 100 in a clapped out Honda element that was barely road worthy. Other than that I’ve never had a need for speed
I once hit 86 MPH in the wife's Honda Element coming across Montana. It reminded me of hitting 55 MPH in a US Army Humvee aka like an unbalanced space shuttle reentering the earth's atmosphere. A little shaky, some weird noises coming from both the car and the wife, and some very white knuckles.
Growing up my sister was a fairly accomplished go-cart racer. Her shifter cart would do well over 100 MPH even with my big ass on it - which doesn't sound all that fast until you remember there is no auto body around you and you are about 4 inches off of the pavement and IN A F*CKING GO CART!

Road bike = 176 on a Honda Blackbird

Not-road bike = Only 232mph. But that was in just under a quarter mile 😈

Car = Don't know. Id be surprised if it's much over 100.

I think the girls are technically a rental... Unless you get em from a now-deceased island owner anyways...
That got dark fast...

But yes, girls are always a rental. And you always pay for it one way or another.

That post to which I replied reminded me of being a young captain back in Southern California. I was driving on the 15, blazing along at maybe 85 in my "lieutenant mobile," and generally enjoying life. All of the sudden one of my sergeants from 2/1 goes flying past me on a motorcycle, splitting lanes, veering in and out of traffic, with this girl, who can only be described as callipygian, clasped onto his back. That's the only time in my life when I saw the appeal of a motorcycle. And it also made me feel very old...
