What's in your lid?

In my Kifaru Guide lid I have my rain coat, headlamp, snacks / lunch, water filter, delorme inreach and heads up decoy. Basically the things I use every day during my hunt that I don't mind taking my pack off to get. Things like my GPS and Camera I keep in belt pouches or my pants pockets for easier access. I originally thought about keeping my spotter and tripod in there but I prefer to have that in the outside pocket of the pack with the lid somewhat protecting it as either way I need to take the pack off to get to it.

TP and wet wipes, headlamp and batteries in zippered pouch, then a midlayer and puffy is how mine is packed

Yep that's why a little TP and wet wipes rides along in my cargo pocket, I've been separated from my pack one too many times when I dearly wished I hadn't.

Inevitably when I think I have enough tp for those types of emergencies it's not nearly enough. Murphy's Law I suppose.

For those that find so much value in the extraTP, how much do you take when you go out? I've been trying to decide how much to take and I just can't decide. I love a good'ole nature poop, but I always seem t run short on TP and end up using gloves, sleeves, socks, taco johns wax paper, etc. I don't want to short myself on TP, but I'm taking baby wipes as well.

Wipe is lite and I don't mind coming out with extra. I bring about 3/4 roll for a few days...

In your case… I say double what you have been bringing and see how that goes. Only you and your diet can dictate what you'll need I figure.
