What’s for Dinner

Maybe I missed it but couldn’t find a thread on what one is eating tonight.

We had backstrap with some morels I dried this spring. Cooked it on the grill then reversed seared and made a pan sauce.

That looks great. Sure beats the turkey sandwich I had on the plane ride back from Kauai tonight.

Burbot Olympia the other night, lunch today is moose nachos. Have some "mystery meat" caribou unthawed , probably make some fajitas.

Venison Italian sausage lasagna tonight with homemade marinara sauce from our garden last year.

Haida Gwaii Black tail deer steaks. Marinated for a few hours then grilled on the BBQ. side of potatoes and salad.

Linguine and clams tonight.

This evening was venison parmesan with sauce from last summer’s tomatoes, and the season’s first salad of greens fresh from the garden. Dined on the deck looking over the garden at the deer that will likely supply similar meals next spring.

Finished up the turkey with carnitas made from the legs.

Picked a bunch of morels today so made some pasta with a cream sauce.
