whats everyone using on there sheep rifle

My sheep rifle is a Remington KS Custom SS Mt Rifle in .338 WM. At just a tad over 7lbs and running 225gr Accubonds there is not much in North American it can't take care of.. : ) A 325WSM is sort of like a short action .338 WM, right? ;)

HAHA...a 325 WSM SHOULD be kinda like a short action 338...but when you cut the barrel down to 18" like I did to make it handier in the brush with it strapped to my pack you give up some FPS. Still 200 grain Nosler Partition at 2800 fps isn't exactly a BB gun especially for a setup that comes in right at 6 pounds with scope, rifle, rings. :D

Because I've always got a mitt full of tags in my pocket while sheep hunting, my rifle is always up for changing species if needed. The idea of a truly dedicated sheep only rifle is but a dream for me. It just heavily influences my choices.
