Costco sells those "event tents" as I call 'em, 4 telescoping poles and a tarp already connected. Don't overthink it

This is a great idea! But you and Elon will have to compete with me and doc Brown when we patent our micro graviton "flash dark." It's like a flashlight but it casts shade via a small quantum computer that pulls photons out of the air and sends them to another dimension, essentially creating a mini black hole (and shade/darkness) wherever you point it.

Probably power it with those stupid 18650 batteries.
