If I were you, I’d not even bring up classifieds and let it continue to be a bane of existence for the mods. Otherwise classifieds will just be gone.

There’s nothing I’m saying that makes a mods job harder. I’m betting the mods would agree.

No one comments on the sake threads. It’s not an issue.

It’s simply talking before season. Surely you can see that as no one buys what they don’t think is worth it. However, sorting through the outrages ones surely clogs the system for relevantly priced gear that a seller is trying to move.

The classifieds have been threatened by ownership to be wiped out multiple times is what I’m saying.

Threads regarding classifieds reminds them they are here and they may get deleted as they are nothing but a headache for the site in general.

I think some guys just aren't aware of the market, they go buy something from Bass Pro and know what they spent and don't realize that savvy buyers or people aware of the various discount programs are picking the same thing up for considerably less than they did. Probably a few people who price higher expecting lowball offers like they would on FB marketplace or CL or whatever too. I know for me I've been emotionally attached to a few things and the price ends up reflecting that, lol, but never will I end up with a 2nd page of bumps I'll come-to before reaching that point.

To answer your question OP, USPS just picked up something I sold on here a few hours ago and in the last month I've bought several things. I think the scammer issues is starting to give people pause, that bigfoot guy is pretty bold and doesn't fit the typical scammer profile. We need to get Kash on the case and send the FBI after him.

I have bought and sold guns on the classifieds (usually have buyers remorse after selling any gun). There's not really a better place. Some decent deals, and on my end I hate trying to sell something for months so I'd rather make it a good deal. That's why I started on rokslide. That said, I almost never pay attention to the classifieds anymore because the content is much better.

I outfit my stuff between here and fleabay. Sometimes I buy on here and sell on fleabay. I print labels at home and drop polymailers or smaller boxes in my mailbox. use pirateship.com for ups and they pick up frim my porch. Ive caught and released a BUNCH of stuff just to try it out. Almost everthing i buy is used. Its kind of like a game to me. Research something I think I may want until I talk myself out of a new one. Then bargain hunt whatever it is down and buy it. I only try to haggle ONE time with the seller if I think the price is too high. If we cant agree on a price I move on fast.

Sign of the times. Economy is stagnant and people are hesitant to spend money. Some people regret spending money where they spent it hence trying to recoup the cost.

That being said I have some used outdoor edge blades with hair and fat on them. Couldn’t cut hot butter. Asking $10 each plus shipping.
