What Wyoming elk unit has the most hunter/grizz encounters?

Just like the tittle states. Haven't seen any info like this posted. Maybe post other states as well. I'm that dump guy looking for an edge on where others might be hesitant to apply for due to grizz.

It has to be the units right around Yellowstone.

I've hunted close to YNP in MT and grizzly bears were everywhere.

I asked Google and she wasn't any help unless there is a population of bears on the east cost of Wyoming in one.

Most the highest populations are general areas in the west. Otherwise, anything limited in the NW corner. Closer you are to yellowstone, the higher the density usually is. pretty straight forward

The most encounters will be from Meteetsee to Clark (north south) and west to the YNP line. Dubois to Jackson would be 2nd.

I hunted unit 59 last fall and it was crawling with grizzly. Bear sign just about everywhere you walked and bears seen almost every day.

I am in the backcountry in NW Wyoming quite a bit year round and the bear numbers anywhere on the east side of the park definitely seem higher than the south. Not even close from what I've seen.
