I will say, turkey is okay, nothing to rave about. I have found enjoyment in deviating from the usual fare and doing steak, shrimp, Cajun, etc.

Okay, the fact that an Alaskan is prepping for a pot of gumbo just warms my soul!

Well, I'm really a coonass-hillbilly that got lost. Thanks to Walmart I even put andouille in it.

Just had some Cajun on Sunday at a friend’s house. Sausage, chicken, and shrimp gumbo. Smoked boudin from Billy’s in LA!

You can't make a simple turkey without drying it out, but will shape processed meats into what meat is supposed to look like.

You chop up breadsticks to make stuffing, use canned gravy on your instant mashed potatoes, nothing can stop you from butchering a holiday meal.

I like turkey, white or dark meat both work. The wife and I replaced hamburger with turkey burger a number of years ago, we have it about once a week in chili, spaghetti, or mixed with corn. Not as tasty to me as moose or caribou meat, but we like it.
