That's not a turkey. What you've drawn there is the long time extinct saguaro dinosaur.

I'll roast up a turkey a couple times a year. I like the dark meat fresh out of the oven, and the breasts for sandwich meat. But this year Thanksgiving is just my wife and I, and I'm cooking up Japanese Wagyu ribeyes.

Okay, blacked out face, could be anyone. Truck tire in the bottom corner of the picture, who says you didn't hit it with the truck just to take a picture with a dead deer???
Or it was a road kill deer near the road and you just pulled into the field and took a quick picture???

You are wasting your breath.

You can't explain to someone that BBQ joints serve brisket AND turkey. Not OR turkey.

Life doesnt have to be either or. It can be both.

And yes. I cook turkey through out the year. I love buying birds for $1 a pound or less after Thankgiving.
